I am honored to serve as the President of the Greater Bay Area Youth Development Association. After the epidemic, more and more young people in Hong Kong are actively exploring opportunities in the Greater Bay Area of ​​the Mainland and are applying for funding to realize their ambitions. Some enthusiastic young people have already settled in the Greater Bay Area of ​​the Mainland, enjoying the different preferential policies and convenient lifestyles of all cities.

Taking root in the Greater Bay Area does not mean that our vision is limited to the 9+2 cities. Young people today should have a broader international perspective. The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is a big springboard. Young entrepreneurs should be able to project their own businesses further afield and enter the international market as Greater Bay Area enterprises. In particular, the Chinese communities in ASEAN countries have deep feelings for their motherland and are willing to cooperate with companies from the Greater Bay Area. There are many local Chinese who speak fluent Cantonese, so there is no need to worry about this problem.

The new board of directors is ambitious and we expect the board of directors to help young people in the Greater Bay Area create more value, increase opportunities for young people in employment, creativity, property, and studies, and keep up with the progress of the times and become a dazzling Greater Bay Area person on the international stage!

I am honored to receive the support of all members again. I was re-elected as the second chairman of the Greater Bay Area Youth Development Promotion Association. In the future, I will continue to actively participate in youth work with more members.

Looking back at the last term, the Greater Bay Area Youth Development Association held many activities, leading Hong Kong youth to visit the 9+2 cities in the Greater Bay Area for exchanges and inspections, as well as three consecutive inno4life-Creative Culture and Technology Innovation Summit and other activities, to gain an in-depth understanding of the current development of the Greater Bay Area cities in various fields, including the policies, facilities and opportunities provided to attract Hong Kong youth to develop in the Greater Bay Area cities, so that Hong Kong youth can find the right direction for their development in the Greater Bay Area in the Mainland, continue to give play to the advantages of Hong Kong people "backed by the motherland and facing the world", and connect with more different countries for cooperation.

At the same time, during the next term, we will also invest more resources in career planning programs and life education for local youth, and will bring more Hong Kong youth to the Greater Bay Area cities for exchange delegations to understand the country's national conditions and development, and enhance Hong Kong youth's sense of national pride and ownership. In addition, we will provide a platform for young people to showcase their talents and hold a “Youth Concert X Market” at the end of the year so that young people can discover their talents.

The Greater Bay Area Youth Development Association will continue to assist Hong Kong youth in achieving the "Four Industries" in order to achieve what President Xi Jinping proposed: "When the youth prosper, the country prospers; when the youth are strong, the country is strong" and cultivate the future pillars of the country.
